Cristian Gori
From his degree at the Siena Art Institute to the excellence of industrial design, Cristian Gori’s work is born from the intersection of artisanal craftsmanship and innovation. Following his debut in his father’s wrought iron workshop, he embarked on a thirty-year professional partnership with Archirivolto (Pocci + Dondoli), gaining a comprehensive understanding of the global market and earning prestigious accolades such as the Young&Design awards (1997, 2001).
This evolution led him to co-found Studio Zest, a creative hub where he channels his extensive expertise into cutting-edge design. His primary focus lies in seating in all its forms; he has developed a specific mastery in blending the aesthetic needs of the home sector with the rigorous technical performance required for contract and office environments.
He defines himself as a chair designer with a "visceral passion," ranging from product consultancy to art direction, while always prioritizing the harmony between the object and its feasibility.
